Coastal Pursuits have run charter boats in the Solent for nearly 20 years. Having sold our RYA training centre arm back 2023 we still run sailing, motorboat and powerboat charters around the Solent from the Hamble & Beaulieu Rivers. Our fleet consists of 3 motorboats, 3 sailing yacht and 2 rib powerboats.
Local knowledge and experience are the key attributes to a good charter skipper. Our 3 skippers have run charters in the Solent since the start of our company back in 2007, so nearly 20 years of expereince. We always help plan your day with possible destinations including the Needles Lighthouse, Lymington, Yarmouth, Cowes, Hamble and the Beauleiu River.
We don`t just run day charters. Need a rib powerboat to take you across to the Isle of Wight? How about just quiet drinks on a boat in the marina? All possible so just drop us an enquiry and we can look at the options for you.
We leave onboard supplies to you. However, there will always be tea, coffee and soft drinks included in your charter fee ( not on rib powerboats ). Do bring along snacks or a buffet lunch. Alcohol can be consumed in moderation on our motorboat but not on sailing yachts or rib powerboats.
We are in the UK, so the weather will always play it`s part. We offer a 100% refund policy for bad weather. It`s our decision but we always want happy and safe clients so always err on the side of caution.
Very simply a £200 deposit at the point of booking paid via a Paypal link emailed directly to you. The balance to be paid again via a secure emailed link 14 days before the charter.
