Coastal Pursuits started rib boat charter from Lymington back in 2005. Now based on the Hamble River we run rib charters all over the Solent including Lymington, Beaulieu, Cowes, Hamble & Southampton. We various rib boat sizes we have the perfect rib for birthdays, hen parties, stag parties or any other type of celebration.

With a rib able to cruise at 20knts it means you can see more of the Solent in a single day. Leaving the Hamble River typically at 10am means we can visit all the major sights including Cowes, Yarmouth & The Needles Lighthouse.
Rib stands for "rigid inflatable boat". The hull of the boat like all other boats made from very hard and strong material but an inflatble collar runs on top of the hull giving excellent sea keeping and increased stability.
We leave onboard supplies to you. Do bring along snacks and drinks, but no alcohol. Lunch is best taken ashore and our team will help arrange all the details. You can have a beer or glass of wine with your lunch but we ask for moderation!
We are in the UK, so the weather will always play it`s part. We offer a 100% refund policy for bad weather. It`s our decision but we always want happy and safe clients so always err on the side of caution.
Very simply a £200 deposit at the point of booking paid via a Paypal link emailed directly to you. The balance to be paid again via a secure emailed link 14 days before the charter.
